We had just two weeks to practice, and we premiered it live at the Homegrown show. 
The crowd’s energy was amazing, and we’re so grateful for everyone who participated. 
This song carries a message close to our hearts. We introduced it with a bit of background on the Non Merci, Pozzolan Dalhousie protest and what’s at stake. If things keep moving forward with the mine, we stand to lose so much. Our lyrics paint a picture of what could happen: the salmon disappearing, lobsters just a memory, trout dying in the rivers, and the air poisoned beyond repair.
It’s a reminder that nature’s beauty and balance can’t be bought back with money. 
We hope you feel the weight of this message as much as we did while writing it.
So, come on—can’t you see? This land, this water—it’s our destiny.
